DIVERA 2009 Vera started composing new songs for a solo program and developed herself as a special singer/songwriter. She performs in a personal and small setting with her acoustic guitar Vanilla and 1 or 2 musical guests The first solo gig she did was as supportact of JP den Tex together with Tim Eijmaal (electric guitar). Summer’09 DIVERA is touring with De Parade in Rotterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag and Amsterdam and after DIVERA even performed in New York on the New Island Festival in september’09. DIVERA’s debut CD is expected soon.

VOER 2005 As a musical experiment violist Oene van Geel and Vera started a crossover of jazz,pop,etno,funk,electro. The goal was to use the freedom of jazz and stay to the point like in pop. 1st edition with Anton Goudsmit, Afra Mussawisade, Gulli Gudmundson, 2nd edition added Robert van Heumen with sampling and 3th edition Mark Haanstra (bas), Eric Hoeke (drums) and Jeroen van Vliet (piano/keyboard) They recorded the CD BITE (EWMmusic/Challenge) in sept ’06 Special highlight gigs of VOER: Bimhuis, North Sea Jazz Festival 2007, Garana Jazz in Roemenia ’07, “Jazz op het Dak 2008

MIMEZINE Vera immersed herself in electronical dance music (electro/triphop/drum ‘n bas) together with Marc Baronner and Baz Mattie. Mimezine recorded several albums and singles starting from May ’99 EP, 12inch vinyl ‘Lucky Number’(CNR/Arcade), remix by Junkie XL Videoclip Lucky Number (regie Marc van Beem, (Plastic) CD 'Indeep' ‘2001(Peermusic/ Zomba) produced byJunkie XL Singles from the album are Here I am, I Love You and Angel Eyes ‘02 'Body Language' , videoclip (regie: Wouter Stoter) Mimezine provided music for radio/ tv/cinema commercial ‘Fuel for the Jungle’ (Pisang Ambon ) CD “Feed the Monkey” (2005) (Universal) produced by Baz Mattie singles: Can’t get enough, Body Language remix of Can’t Get Enough by Kraak &Smaak (The Remixes) Mimezine performed in several clubs and festivals like Paradiso, Melkweg, Vredenburg, Nighttown, Lowlands Festival, Noorderslag en Parkpop |

BEESWAMP: 1996 funky groovy rock. Vera played keyboards and guitar and sang together with her sister Beatrice van der Poel who composed most of the Beeswamp songs. Martijn Bosman (drums), Bart de Ruiter (bas) Jac Bico (guitar) joined them. In Hamburg, Germany, they recorded their CD “Sweet Sticky Stuff ”(Peermusic/ Arcade '96) produced by Liam Sternberg (the Bangles“Walk like an Egyptian“) and co-prod. John Malison (Bjork). Beeswamp toured in The Netherlands, Belgium, USA and Canada.
